Can you work outside business hours?

Yes — most of our commercial work runs evenings, overnight, or on weekends specifically so the space stays open during business hours. Tell us your operating hours and any noise or access restrictions and we'll build the schedule around them.

Are you licensed, insured, and WCB covered?

Yes. Kodiak Painting is a licensed and insured painting contractor with liability coverage in place and WCB-covered crews. We can provide current certificates up front for your records or to satisfy your building's contractor requirements.

How do you handle occupied buildings?

Work areas are contained and signed, access routes stay clear, and we phase the work so residents and staff always have a way through. For corridors and stairwells we typically work one section at a time rather than closing a whole floor. Low-odour products keep adjacent spaces usable.

Do you work with strata councils and property managers?

Yes. We're used to quoting on a schedule that fits budget cycles and AGM timing, providing the written scope and documentation councils need to approve spending, and phasing larger repaints across more than one season when that's what the budget calls for.

Can you match our existing brand colours?

Yes. Bring us the paint codes if you have them, or we can colour-match from a sample — a cabinet door, a piece of trim, or a section of existing wall. For franchise and brand-standard work, send the spec sheet and we'll order to it.

How do you quote larger commercial projects?

We walk the site, measure, and put together a written scope broken down by area so you can see what each part costs and phase it if you need to. The quote is free, and the number we quote is the number you're invoiced unless you request a change to the scope.
