We price on measured surfaces rather than a rule of thumb, so the number reflects your actual walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Book the complete interior package and there’s a 5% discount on the combined total.
- Measure the actual surfacesWe measure real wall area — perimeter times height — plus ceilings, linear feet of trim, and door counts. Not your home's floor area, which is where vague quotes come from.
- Talk colours and finishesThe colour consultation is included. We bring the fan decks, sample your shortlist on your own walls, and match sheen to how each room actually gets used.
- Put the whole scope in writingPrep, repairs, products, coats, colours, timing, and cleanup — itemised, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Most painters won’t give you a number until they’re standing in your living room. These are our actual rates. Paint is included, prices exclude GST, and there’s a $600 minimum job.
Two coats, paint included. Priced on real wall area — perimeter times height, not your floor area.
Smooth ceilings, paint included. Second coat available as an add-on.
$2.25 standard, dropping to $1.85 once you’re over 300 feet.
Flat slab $100, panel $125, French door and casing $200.

A short exterior season
Roughly May to early October is the window where coatings can actually cure. Exterior dates fill fast, so spring quotes get the best slots.
Dry winters move drywall
Indoor humidity drops hard here, framing shrinks, and nail pops and corner cracks follow. That's repair work before it's painting work.
Stucco needs its own coating
Alberta stucco has to breathe. Standard house paint traps moisture in the wall and peels off in sheets — masonry coatings don't.
Road salt attacks concrete
Slush carries brine into a bare garage slab, then freezes and spalls it from inside. Sealing the concrete is what stops the cycle.
